BIO


Dov Talpaz is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY. Talpaz works primarily in oil paint and engages with multiple mediums including: paper collage, watercolor, pastel, and etching. His current practice reflects a dual focus—integrating close observation of nature with atmospheric visual storytelling. Talpaz studied at the New York Studio School for Drawing, Painting & Sculpture and has since continued to develop his work in his Brooklyn studio. 

Talpaz’s works have been exhibited locally and internationally, with recent solo and group exhibitions at SARAHCROWN (NYC), The TL Studio (NYC), 601Artspace (NYC), Slag Gallery (NYC), EGMS Studio (Austria), Triumph Gallery (Chicago), William Holman Gallery (NYC), Fire Barn Gallery (MI), and the Muskegon Museum of Art (MI), among many others. His paintings have also been presented at Untitled Art Fair (Miami), Dallas Art Fair (Texas), ArtPrize (MI), and Spring/Break Art Show (NYC). Talpaz’s work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Hyperallergic, Whitehot Magazine, and Forbes, and is included in private and public collections worldwide.
